You were pleased with yourself. It was a good first test but who is really going to know what Willy's favorite video games were. You knew and it was hilarious but still.
Regardless of your new power you had other things to do. This was your senior year in high school and that meant prom. No one had asked you yet, but with your new power you had the pick of the school. If that boy already had a date, you pitied her. She probably wouldn't be going to the prom. Not with that guy anyway and she probably would have her mind altered in some way too. Serves the girl right, stealing the guy who was meant for you. But that was for later, you hadn't decided which lucky boy would be your prom date.
Now that you were sure that you were going, you had to a lot to do. You had to find a dress, and the proper shoes to go with them. Pick out a hair style, jewelry, get your nails done, have your makeup professionally applied. And other things that you just hadn't thought about. It was going to be hard, but it was a once in a lifetime experience and it was worth it.
Then you got to thinking about Willy. He went to prom when he was your age. But it was easy for him, Rent a TUX (they are all the same) pick up his date and have fun. There was no hours of looking for the perfect dress. No extra time looking for the right shoes to go with it. And what about the proper jewelry and purse? He went to a barber and had his hair trimmed. You would have to spend months trying out different hair-doos until you found the right one. You have to hire a makeup artist. You had to get your nails done. You would also have to get your legs and armpits waxed. There was so much to do. Willy had it easy. Not this time, you thought.
So you went to outside of Willy's door and put some ideas in his head. "Willy," you said directly to his mind. "You are going to the Richmond High School Prom this year. It is a fact, Laura bought you tickets and found you a date. You can't back out. This is a special day so you will go all out. You must find the perfect dress. It has to be short and poofy to highlight your legs. You will need to have your legs and armpits waxed so you look your best. You need matching shoes and a purse. You have to select the perfect jewelry and hairstyle to bring out your look." Continuing you told him, "He must check several places (dress shops, jewelry stores, hair stylists, makeup and nail artists) to find the right look and don't be shy about asking questions. You want to be the most beautiful of any of the GIRLS at the prom and you will spare no expense of effort."
You thought this was going to be fun, not only would he waste his money on all he needed for prom, but it would be extremely embarrassing for him to You worded the instructions so that he couldn't just do it quickly, but he would have to visit many places. You couldn't wait to see how he did turn out for prom.
Then you added one last thing. Since you are spending so much time and effort, when you have the whole thing complete, the day before prom schedule an appointment at Glamour Shots and get professional; pictures for you to keep forever. Don't forget to smile."
