The person you wanted to find first was your sister Maggy. Maggy and you have been so close for so many years and now that she's in college she thinks she is too mature for you. This is especially true since she found her new boyfriend. "Well," you thought, "if she thinks she is so mature she should dress the part."
Entering Maggy's room you greet your sister.
"Hey Lau, what's up?"
"I just want to borrow a skirt and maybe a top." You put into Maggy's mind that most everything she wears is too juvenile for her.
"Sure pick what you want."
You look around and find a hot top with a v-neck and a tight pair of leggings. Holding the clothes in front of your body you ask, "What do you think?"
"it looks great on you." Then a moment later, "You can have them if you like."
"I can?"
"Sure, those things are just for kids. I am getting older now, I should dress more mature."
"Mature like how?"
"Like how Mom dresses." Ellen your mom is in her forties and dresses like the middle-aged wife and mother she is. This is Maggy's style now too.
"You want to dress like Mom?"
"Sure she is very pretty and has a great sense of style. In fact, let me borrow something from her closet now. You can have anything you like from my closet." Maggy came back in a few minutes wearing a conservative knit top with a rounded neck and a pair of mom's aptly named Not Your Daughters brand jeans. But mom was several sizes bigger than Maggy so it didn't fit too well. She needed a belt to keep the pants up. "Maybe I should buy a new wardrobe for myself?"
"Well if you are going to give me all your clothes, you will need it." you said with a smile.
"You are right, Lau." I should go now so I'll have something to wear for tomorrow."
"Can, I come with you?"
Maggy thought for a while and decided it was OK. "Sure come along." Before leaving the house, you changed Maggy's style again. Now she preferred to wear the apparel of Nana (Maggy's maternal grandma who was in her early seventies.) You couldn't wait to see Maggy dressing like she is off to the senior center instead of off to college.
