Nervously, you gesture towards the huge elderly lady with the kindly face.
"Hello Madam!" you say.
"Why, hello there my little lamb! How delightful to meet you!" the huge elderly woman smiled as she spoke, her eyes twinkling with kindness. "Don't look so worried, I promise I'll look after you!"
The other ladies look disappointed whilst Melanie leads you both to a small room where you will be able to talk without interruption.
"No longer than five minutes for the 'interview'." Melanie explains. "After that, if you want to spend any more time with Mrs Ellis here, you'll have to agree to be her dinner date, if you know what I mean." Melanie chuckles and leaves the two of you alone.
Mrs Ellis smiles comfortingly. "I must say, you do look rather nervous, dearie!"
You nod. "I'm sorry. It's just that..."
"No need to apologise, little lamb. It must feel very strange to know that you're going to be eaten alive!"
"I've always dreamed of being shrunk and eaten alive, but now I'm actually here... I think I might have made a mistake."
"Oh, you poor little lamb! You are in a pickle, aren't you? I can see you're scared and I want you to know that it's going to be alright."
"Really?" you say, looking hopefully at Mrs Ellis's kindly face.
"Yes, dearie. There's no need to be scared. I'll look after you!" she licks her lips and pats her belly.
