You manage to run into the first mate of Captain Killian's crew. This wasn't bad luck more or less he expected you to be there. For awhile it looked like all your efforts and attempts to free your kin would fail. Fortunately that wasn't the case.
" Your not going to free the prisoners that easily!" The First mate said confident that he could take you all on. Including Esmeralda despite her magical prowess.
" I think you are forgetting something, that we happen to have the greatest hero of all on our side the Legendary Lion Warrior!" Esmeralda exclaimed to the first mate.
" She's right so I think I ought to play the part correctly! You guys go on ahead with me I'll keep this guy busy so you can free them!" Bartus told the rest of you. It was then you had a fortunate chance to escape and free the mermaids. Although you would like to battle this guy you knew very well that wasn't your top priority right now.
Bartus interference allowed you to find the rest of the mermaids which kind shocked Erin, it was her first time seeing such a scene and if It were up to you she would never have to see a scene like this again. " Don't turn your head away from this Erin, remember this so you can always be aware of what malicious people are capable of." you told Erin.
Erin agreed and didn't turn her back from the horrors that she saw. " I'd never imagine it would be like this, but still we have to save them." She said.
" But how will we free them? We can't just keep fighting the thieves all night?" Gareth asked. This you had no idea of how the mermaids would be free. Fortunately however Erin had an idea. " I have an idea but it requires us to use magic and maybe Esmeralda can help too." Erin said.
She then explained there idea Erin remembered when she was young she took a peak at the surface on a continent that was filled with ice and saw many creatures moving on the bellies and into the water. She even thought if she ever had legs she would try it once. It was then that it came to her that this idea could be used as a way for the mermaids to escape. Esmeralda liked the idea as well but the idea required them to find a place they can use to lead them straight to the ocean.
Esmeralda quickly found one and now it was time to get the prisoners out as fast as possible. You, Erin and Esmeralda cast your magic and prepared this ice bridge and made it all the way to the ocean! It was amazing you were able to do such a feat, but now the next part had come. The Mermaids were free and now you had to go to meet with your mother.
" Goodbye, Friends hopefully we can put an end to all this." You tell them. You wave goodbye and Erin says her goodbyes as well before leaving with you on the slide. It wasn't long when you both went back into the ocean along with several missing mermaids. Unfortunately you couldn't account for the ones that we're dead, but at least you managed to save the majority of them.
As you and Erin swim in hopes of finding your mother and convincing her to stop her attack, you run into....
