A Swashbuckling Warrior

    by: Unknown
You are a young warrior in your 20s who has been travelling with your mother selling the armor you and your family forge for quite some time. This also gave you plenty of time to specialize in many weapons, however your favorite has always been the sword. Of course you and your older twin brother had always practiced together when you get the chance. When you mention your family name a lot of people automatically ask you about your family. You also notice men flock around you as you gracefully practice your maneuvers. Ironically you weren't interested in most men. You were always picky about the type of man you would want to marry. Yet you always had this habit of preferring the weapons you made rather than some forged by another smith. You were currently travelling alone to a town. Reports say that a dragon has been spotted in the area. Fortunately you always formed strong bonds of friendship with many dragons you have met so the dragon must have some reason from venturing away from its colony.

"This should be the place. There's no obvious destruction which rules out the possibility of a rogue dragon, but I can't be sure. The dragon could be masquerading around in human form as well." You said to yourself before entering town.

As you enter town you see a bunch of people buying and selling their wares. Yet one man you see sticks out from the crowd. The man must have been close to your brother's height if not taller and extremely well muscled. He also wore golden armor with some of the armor painted white. He also had beautiful golden blond hair and piercing amber eyes. Just looking at him made your heart flutter so much that you temporarily forgot about finding the dragon until you suspect the man of actually being a dragon. If you were wrong he could just be a knight serving the royal family yet it didn't hurt to ask. You feel faint as you see the handsome hunk walk in your direction.

"Pardon me milady but have you seen two people pass by here? I gave them a gift for breaking a curse I was under, but some time after they left an important box that I had in my possession went missing. I was hoping that they could help me find the culprit."

In the back of your mind your senses are yelling at you that this man is a dragon, but you're too blinded by your infatuation to notice. You try to calm yourself down before answering.

"Can you tell me who they are?" You asked the handsome hunk of a man.

"They were a man and a woman. The man was dressed as a guard and the woman was dressed as a mage. I only know the name of the mage due to her reputation. The mage's name is Esmerelda Jadestone."

"That's the Witch of the Forest. Did you know where she was going?"

"She didn't mention it, but I think she's gathering ingredients for a potion. According to the rumors it has something to do with curing your queen."

Again your brain starts telling you that you are speaking to a dragon just by the way he is answering your questions. However your heart believes he's the type of man you always wanted to fall in love with.

"Um, can we go somewhere more private? I'm sure you'll understand once I ask you these questions I have." You said while blushing.

"Of course we can. There's a tavern over there. They have some of the best food."

You agree with the man and follow him to the tavern. After you and the man order and once the order comes out...
