You are a charming fellow in your 20s. The women fawn over your rugged good looks and your bad boy attitude. These same women are also your targets. All you have to do is a romance a woman in a tavern steal her coin purse when she's drunk and walk away like nothing happened. You also take riskier jobs as well. One time you stole from a nobleman's carriage. The job was successful but the carnage has scarred you for life. You began to develop an irrational fear of curses and hexes placed on the dead believing that they rise again to seek their revenge. You remember the thieves who accompanied you talk about serving the Witch of Weslone or better known as the Black Swan and how they will replace every noble.
You didn't care about all of that political mumbo jumbo. All you wanted was to get paid by your mysterious employer that they were talking about. By the time you were going to meet your employer you noticed that half of your team was killed. You see some of them cowering before a fairy who is all too thrilled to kill them.
"Please don't murder us. We did as the Black Wanted!" A older thief said before the fairy.
"Marlani thanks you, but I'm bored. That's why I must kill you!"
You witness as the fairy uses dark magic to tear the thief to shreds. You start buckling in your boots. The fairy grins as she notices you.
"Hello there mister. Don't be afraid. I'm only going to break all of your bones!" The fairy scream with excitement.
You try to run away but you get crushed by boulders. You yell in agony before passing out. Every bone has been broken in your body and you were on the verge of death. Fortunately your employer healed your wounds. However your body would be weak due to the trauma it endured.
Sakara, you weren't supposed to kill nearly half of them. You were only suppose to lead them to me." A woman dressed in black said to the fairy.
"But I was bored. I had to entertain myself. So a few thieves were lost due to my fetish for bloodshed. Those that survive only prove themselves to be worthy of serving you Marlani."
"You have a point, but try to keep yourself in check. Your addiction to killing may windup costing you your own life someday."
