"Wow… This thing is amazing! It actually got Audrey to watch the kind of TV shows I like! And I guess her favorite show isn't so bad either, I just never gave it a chance." James said to himself in his room, as he fiddled with the ring in his hand.
As he sat there, he was reminded of the itchy feeling he felt all over his body as he was reminded of the hair on his arms and legs. It never used to bother him before, but maybe these clothes needed to be washed, he thought.
James decided to throw his clothes in the laundry in case they were the cause of it, and decided to jump in the shower real quick regardless. He had been fishing around in mud earlier so he needed to get clean. James and his sister shared a bathroom connecting both of their bedrooms, so when he got in the shower and ran the water, he noticed his sister's bottle of scented body soap next to the tub. He was about to leave it alone, when he realized that his own soap was nearly empty.
With a shrug James opened the bottle and smelled the contents. "Wow this stuff smells great! No wonder she likes using it. I'm sure she won't mind just this once…"
James washed the grime off his body from the muddy water earlier, and was once again reminded of the disgusting hair that covered his arms, legs, and even between his legs… He wasn't a really hairy guy, but it was especially noticeable under the shower water.
"You know… I bet Lauren might like it if I shave. She told me she's glad I can't grow a very good beard yet… maybe she likes it smooth…" James muttered to himself.
It was settled. The hair would grow back again, and at least this way he might see if his girlfriend liked this. Come on I mean… if she can shave her legs, who's to say I can't? He justified to himself. He reached over to the sink and grabbed his razor and shaving gel. It would be the first time he's ever tried using it on anything like leg hair, and the blade was almost good as new since his facial hair grew extremely slow.
"Alright… let's just do this. At least if it turns out weird I can just wear pants for a month…"
And so he proceeded to shave his legs in the shower. As he did so, he found that it actually felt quite nice. Once the hair was gone on one leg, it felt baby smooth, and he actually rubbed his hand down his leg, marveling at how unbelievably smooth it felt now. He hadn't had skin that smooth since he was a kid… He quickly proceeded to shave the other leg, and in his excitement, decided to just go all the way and shave everything below the neck!
James was nervous at first, but by the end of it, he was quite pleased with the results, and hoped his girlfriend liked his new look. By this time he realized the hot water was starting to get cool, and his mom would probably start yelling at him to get out, dinner would be ready soon. He needed to shampoo his hair still, which he'd grown out to the bottom of his ears, in a teenage guy style. He didn't even think as he rushed to shampoo, and grabbed Audrey's shampoo and conditioner.
He got out of the shower smelling rather flowery and girly, but he didn't even notice. His hair was softer than ever, after using his sister's specialty hair products. She always begged mom to buy the best stuff for her, and their mom always spoiled her. James was suddenly jealous that his parents went out of their way to get Audrey such nice things, when he got the cheap discount crap that smelled like nothing at all.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
