"Hah!, take that sucker!" Darrin said with a superior grin on his still female face, "I beat you, even as a girl!"
Ricky sighed, "Yeah, you really did it"
If it hadn't been 50% his console he would have thrown the controller away, "so, what does the winner say?".
"Hmmm" Darrin made.
Ricky laughed and said,
"You won without something to fight for?"
"Just let me think for a moment.." Darrin said.
Ricky looked at Darrin.
After a short while Ricky began poking Darrin's side which resulted in Darrin flinching.
"Stop that" he exclaimed while suppressing laughter.
"Nah, you are too slow" Ricky said.
Darrin nodded and said,
"I was considering the lion exhibition, but now I think I could use a little vacation from you too!"
Ricky jokingly pulled a sad face without stopping the poking.
"And thanks to your comment I guess I will go fast!" Darrin added.
"Sooo...Cheetah?" Ricky concluded.
"Yes" Darrin confirm.
"Aaaand...I?" Ricky asked. Choosing for oneself was only half the price and usually less than half the fun.
"You...." Darrin said while putting on his thinking-expression which was promptly after by a finger in his side.
"Okay, okay," Darrin said chuckling "you go with the giraffe, but you need to be female too!".
Ricky nodded. He was fine with that. Giraffe bulls often battled throwing their heads on their long necks against each other, so being female would assure a calm vacation.
It took Ricky only a few minutes to discuss the necessary with the zoo director, and when he came back he told Darrin :
"They will send a truck"
Darrin was perplexed.
"To where?" he asked
"Mhhh, should have asked him that." Ricky said.
Darrin just glared in disbelief.
He liked his friend even though he was sometimes shameless, careless and childish, but he never understood how one could leave their head in the clouds like that.
"So he said "great, we will send a truck" and you said "great" and hung up?" Darrin asked.
"More or less" Ricky said while scratching his head in slight embarrassment.
Darrin slammed his hand on his forehead before saying
"Maybe this was for the greater good"
Ricky didn't look as if he was capable of following Darrin's conclusion so Darrin explained:
"Where should he have taken us from? Giving him our address wouldn't have helped, and two animals just walking into the truck without any restraints or cage would have just been weird.
We need to order our own animal transport that doesn't ask questions. We will just guarantee him that the animals will make no trouble and you tell the zoo director that he should pay for transport."
"That's a plan" Ricky said while throwing fingerguns at Darrin
"I know" Darrin said "and give your or mine bank details so he can send us the money".
This time Ricky needed a bit longer but he had taken care about everything. He had even told the zoo director that there would be little need to anesthetize since "the animals" were well trained and were originally from a zoo.
The plan worked rather well. The transporter picked them, already transformed, up, and brought them to the zoo where they were anesthetized despite what Ricky had told the zoo director.
They were both brought to their new cages and were left there to wake up.
