"I think a were-mammal sounds like fun!", said Denise. "Although, you better set a few more rules in place before doing so. A whale is a mammal and that could be very bad news for you if you turn into one, especially this far from the ocean. You should make sure you turn into something that will be safe for your location. Maybe you could turn into a mammal that is within so many miles? Also, what happens if you turn into something small and the time runs out while you're confined?"
"Yes, those are very good points. I knew there was a reason that I keep you around.", he said playfully with a wink."Tell you what, I'll only turn into a mammal that suits my environment, and although I can only be human in the day time, I can choose to stay locked into that form as long as I'd like. I'll only be able to make that transition back to human a half hour before sunrise. If I don't turn back then, I'll be stuck like that for the next day. If I could just turn back whenever I wanted, what fun would that be?"
Mike set the medallion to his chest and concentrated. After a few minutes, a loud clink broke the silence as the medallion fell to the floor.
Denise smiled as she pulled him close. "Well, we still have an hour until sundown. Let's have some fun in the bedroom while we wait!"
Mike followed Denise into the room. He was a little nervous about the change, but very much looking forward to experiencing life as an animal. He wondered what form he would take first. The decision was out of his hands, and that's what really excited him. He made the changes that Denise suggested, but didn't quite fill her in on all of the details of some of his modifications.
