So many Batgirls!

So yeah, there are a lot of Batgirls.

There's Barbara Gordon, the original Batgirl and Batman’s first female side-kick. In most depictions, she’s been left paralyzed from the waist down after a nasty encounter with the Joker, going by the name Oracle. But feel free to write her as either.

Or Cassandra Cain, the second Batgirl. Cassandra was given the role of Batgirl under the guidance of Batman and Barbara and is the daughter of assassins David Cain and Lady Shiva. She’s been trained as a living weapon since early childhood. Sometimes goes by the name Blackbat.

Maybe even Stephanie Brown, the fan-favorite and third Batgirl? She's been both a villain and a Robin before becoming Batgirl. She's usually depicted as mentoring under Barbara, training with her to be the best Batgirl she can be. Just because DC doesn’t like her doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a place in this story!
