I woke up the next morning to find Jane nowhere in sight. Strange I thought I was normally the first up. I went to answer the call of nature then went downstairs for breakfast expecting to see Jane in the kitchen but she was not there. Instead I found a note from. I opened it and read it.
Morning Honey
You looked so peaceful lying in bed this morning I didn’t have the heart to wake you. I had to leave early to get some last minute things for tonight.
Use my shampoo and conditioner when you have your shower and don’t forget to have a really close shave All OVER and meet me and the girls at Susan’s place at 2pm this afternoon.
I know you are really not in the mood for tonight but do it for me and I will owe you
Love
Jane
She was right I was not in the mood for this party but Jane said she would make it up to me. At least that was how I read her note. This one fact had put a smile on my face maybe today / tonight wouldn’t be so bad after all and with that thought in my head I finished my breakfast and went to have my shower.
I found myself following Jane’s instructions to the letter. The suggestion that it contained was more than enough to motivate me. Beside which I was starting to look forward to a night out even if it was with her friends. I hadn’t been out since we had moved other than to go shopping. So what if I ended up looking like a fool I was sure I wouldn’t be the only one wearing a silly outfit tonight.
