Chapter #4

The River Runs

After young Jack audibly gulped down a few more terrified people, he wiped the back of his hand with his mouth and let out a contented sigh. He put his hands on his hips and did a quick survey of the pandemonium near his feet. For the last few steps down one of the main roads, his bare feet and toes had left imprints in the cracked asphalt. Each step was adorned with fully and semi-crushed vehicles from the dense morning traffic that had nowhere to run. Those who had been caught in the chaos while they were walking to work had splattered in each step. He noted a few that showed only some half-crushed people; there were even a few still trying to crawl away from him.

The one nearest to him was in a daze, dragging two mangled stumps behind him while he pulled himself along the asphalt with all his might. The hundred-foot kid noticed this and casually dipped a foot in on the other side of the man, casting a daunting shadow over his form as he began to lower his heel down. He screamed, crawling as fast as he could, but it was no use. Jack's heel settled in its rightful place atop the tiny man before the kid applied just a bit of pressure and popped what remained of his body. A streak of gore shot out from under the boy's foot as he twisted his heel around.

Jack repeated this process a couple more times, putting any that he saw out of their misery and giggled with each wet crunch.

And that's when it hit him.

He really had to go pee!

Walking down the road again, the kid searched for a good spot. It only took him a few seconds before he found a small group of people caught in front of him. Behind them was a pretty nasty car wreck, one that had both vehicles engulfed in flames. It had likely happened as a result of the chaos. The only place they could run would be back towards him.

The kid just giggled as he hooked his thumbs into the waistband of his pajamas and brightly-colored camouflage briefs and dropped them all the way down to his ankles. Grinning, Jack jutted his hips forward and took his wiener in his hands before letting loose.

The people were in absolute shock. They had managed to escape titanic terror of a boy, and he had tracked them down again. And now... He was gonna piss on them!

As the stream came out in full force, he aimed for each person he saw. It knocked them down and then he'd aim for their faces, giving time for others to try to get back up before he'd change his direction and knock them back down again. A couple were hit so hard by the forceful, yellow stream that it actually knocked them backwards into the flaming vehicles that had trapped them. This made Jack especially happy, as he began to let loose with bellowing laughter while he simply peed.

He changed his course one last time after he had sufficiently mangled or drowned enough of the people in the group, and aimed for the blazing fire behind them.

"FIREMAN JACK!" The kid yelled, laughing.

And so he was. He doused the flames long and hard enough to extinguish them. But it was far too late for those that had been knocked into it just a few seconds ago.

Down to the last few drops, he shook himself off and pulled his pants back up, letting the waistbands snap loudly against his thin frame.

Through the screaming and sputtering chaos in front of him, the drone of sirens begin to pick up. They were heading his way!

Does Jack...
