You drive back towards the college lab, intending to go all the way back when suddenly you run out of gas! You have a few drops of spare gas in a can in the trunk, but there must be a hundred miles to go. You'll never make it!

Hours after this trip started, you make it to your aunt's house on the very last gasp of fumes. You park in the grass next to the front door, "At last! I made it!" You climb up the stony steps but find the door shut with no way to squeeze inside. You remember the ground level basement windows in the back yard. They're always propped open this time of year.
You run to the back of the house which takes hours in your opinion. But there it is! An open window and hurrah! No one ever fixed the hole in the screen. You immediately run up to the window and carefully climb into the opening into the basement room.
