"Oh, what's that over there!?" Kourtney pushes you over, and in your awkward stance you nearly fall sideways to the ground like an oak tree. Before you could even turn around, Kourtney had her hands on it. The matter transposer. "Hey! This is what I saw you holding! So what is it Scott?"
Kourtney hurries back over to you for all the answers you could bestow, and with her cute fluttering eyelashes and innocent, curious smile, you cave in with a forgiving stutter, "Oh, oh that. That's, that's just, just a science experiment of mine."
Okay, so caving in doesn't necessarily mean telling the whole truth of the matter, right?
"Yeah, yeah," you go on, thinking this sounds good, "It's a little project I've been working on using some of the more advanced formulas and theories from physics class." You make a reach for the device, but Kourtney pulls it away wanting to examine it more closely herself.
Unable to discern it's functions with her own eyes, she looks into yours and asks, "So what does it do? And don't give me a bunch of science-y talk, you know I won't know what the heck you're talking about."
"It, uh," you want to resist telling her this part, but it's so difficult. "It, uh.."
"Come on! Spit it out!" Kourtney laughs, "You made it, you should know what it does Scott!"
