Marie swung her long stocking-clad legs idly, sitting on a ledge just outside of the Yasogami High campus. Her clothing was an eclectic mix of fashions, mixed in with the Yasogami High uniform. Her shirt, a couple of sizes too small, accentuated the curves of her ample chest. A blue beret lay on the grass beside her. "Boooring!" she exclaimed, inflating her gum into a bubble.
A couple of male students from another school wandered over. "What do you have there?" One of them snatched her notebook from her. "What's this, song lyrics?"

When Yuu arrived at Yasogami High's entrance, the scene was complete carnage. A high school student, his jacket torn and frayed, grabbed his ankle pleadingly. "Please, save us!"
Marie stood on top of a van, lightning crackling in her eyes. She cut an imposing figure. Yuu stepped between her and the students, his arms spread apart. Marie's eyes returned to dark green. "I don't need your help."
Yukiko, seeing the commotion, ran over. "I think he's protecting them from you," she said, a bemused smile on her face.
The thunder around Marie settled to a low growl. "Hmmph," Marie said, folding her arms. The atmosphere lifted. The sun shone, birds chirped, and the air began to move again. As it did, a swirling gust caught the hem of Marie's skirt and sent it skyward, revealing her pale thighs and light blue-
Marie swatted her skirt down, blushing to the roots of her hair. "You saw?" she asked, glaring at Yuu.
"Well, I..."
Yukiko giggled. "I'm surprised that you didn't come in your swimsuit, given that we have swimming class today."
"Swimming?" Marie asked. "What do you mean by that?"
Yukiko grinned. "Come with me, we'll get you set up."
