Rise saw where this was going. She wasn't about to start auctioning off her clothes to maintain discreet. She was already missing her footwear!

Without skipping a beat, the newly sock-footed girl moved away from the small group, deftly vanishing into the nearest crowd.

Rise sighed, trying her best to blend into the ongoing dance. On one hand, no one noticed or cared that she lacked footwear. Even better, no one was likely to recognize a retired starlet in a dense crowd like that.

Unfortunately, it turned out Rise was wrong. The eventual trouble was the clear result of...
