Aubrey and Ella were both setting up for their little gig in the park. Aubrey had blonde hair with a bright purple streak. She was tall and a bit gangly, and everything she wore always ended up a bit short due to this, so she usually stuck with long shirts and shorts. She long had a passion for sport-like things, but Ella showed her differently. Ella knew all sorts of instruments, and introduced Aubrey to the skill of guitar playing and singing after hearing Aubrey sing to herself when she thought she was alone.
It was a quick friendship - Ella was a friendly, helpful sort of person. She had small glasses she never seemed to look through despite being incredibly near-sighted. She said it was from all of her reading, as she constantly attempted to learn. She kept her brown hair back in a ponytail, and always had some sort of impeccable style with a light shirt that was slightly off her shoulder, a small red hat, and a pair of blue shorts with a belt.
Approaching them was something they did not expect. It was a girl with short blue hair dressed in sheet music. She had a tube top skillfully wrapped around her chest, and a pleated sheet skirt. The whole thing was actually a bit cute, though it was still a bit strange and ill-fitting. Her skirt was a bit low, riding down to her pelvic region on occasion with her skirt dipped from its hard oval shape.
"Excuse me, but can you help me?" Crystal asked. Ella immediately moved closer to her.
"What's going on?" She asked. It was a bit hard to keep focus directly on Crystal's eyes when so much of her was exposed - especially her toned stomach. In fact, many others were watching now, and Crystal really wanted to move away.
"Um, I noticed you needed an extension cord. I was wondering if I could trade for, perhaps, any sort of clothes?" She asked this a bit more hushed. "I have somewhere I need to be. Fast."
Ella did not draw any more attention, merely nodding and leading Crystal to their box, where inside, there were all sorts of shirts with their band name, "Optimism Notice" on it. She pulled out one of the larger sizes and handed it over. "Take your time!" She said. "I would love an extension cord..." She trailed off then, realizing what Crystal had meant. The skirt with its bright orange rim was an extension cord! Her own face actually grew a bit red when she learned this, and just nodded again. "Um, there are bathrooms not far off. I wish I could help you more, but we don't really have much else.
Crystal shook her head with a happy face. "No! This is perfect, thank you! I'll get you this cord right away."
"If you can," Ella said, "maybe stick around to see some of our set?"
"I'm afraid I don't have time."
"A shame." Ella sighed and shrugged.
