It seemed to Mackenzie that just one person had just left the cabin. A male voice, but sounding young. She felt much more comfortable, if that is possible in her predicament, to negotiate a modesty keeping exit from her hot tub outside skinnydipping with the door locked. 'Now or never.' she decided.
"Hello. Hi. Hello. Could you help with something...Hello. HELLO." The snow was now heavy enough to reduce the visibility to a few yards. She knew that the adjacent cabin was close but hidden from view. Had the man heard her? The snow seemed to swallow her calling voice. This was turning from bad to worse. She could just hope that she could break a window on her hut, but that would be followed by a snow storm inside and a lot of emotionally painful explanations how that could happen. She rose into standing position and called louder again. "HELLO. Over HERE" and waved her hands. And she looked into the direction of the other hut. That was the wrong direction
The boy was closing the distance to the next hut with the task that his father had assigned him. He could just hope that the neighbor was at home and would have the device. When he got closer he had the impression that a female voice was calling through the snow. Another crazy imagination, he thought. He had lost the path and was walking steeply uphill through ten inches of snow until he was stopped by a hedge with no leaves on it. Turning left he squeezed himself through a small opening and approached the back terrace of the house.
When he made his last steps in the snow he suddenly saw a female nude body rising from the a hot tub which was steaming like crazy in this cold. Nevertheless, her shape from behind was great, including a lovely firm butt. "HELLO. Over HERE" she yelled and stood bravely, exposing her bare wet skin to the winter storm. Then she even waived.
He
1 - launched a snowball
2 - shocked her by calling loud from behind her
3 - politely stepped back and called her from safe distance
