night at the prom

The glimmer of fairy lights and the enchanting music wafted through the air as Max and Brittany entered the high school gym, which had been transformed into a sparkling wonderland for prom night. Dressed in a stunning pink gown that flowed luxuriously around her legs, Brittany (originally Jack) looked breathtaking, an ethereal transformation from her former self. The soft curls of her hair framed her face perfectly, giving her an air of quiet confidence that both thrilled and startled Max.

“Are you ready for this?” Max asked, glancing at Brittany with a mix of admiration and concern. The reality of their evening together had taken on a life of its own.
