No visible threats, you exited the hatch, closing it behind you. You made your way to the stream near to your base. It had been a reliable source of water throughout your time here. When you first spotted it it was little more than a trickle of water, now you could be washed away in it if you weren't careful. You took once last glance around, creatures at streams were often prime prey. You dipped your chest sized container into the stream, filling it up quickly. 4 more runs, you figured as you proceeded the 200 yards or so to your shelter. You looked up at the tree canopy so high above the grass canopy that surrounded you, a beautiful day, bathing the ground in sunlight.
As you ascended the small hill, almost to your shelter the wind picked up. The branches in the oak tree swayed, but it mostly remained the same at your level, beneath that force. But the wind carried something with it. A low humming seemed to accompany the wind. Then you began to feel something faint through your feet. Rumbling. Every other second and thump, Thump, THUMP, louder with each iteration. Your mind screamed at you to return to your shelter, but you had never experienced anything like this since your arrival 4 months ago. The humming sound increased, clearly a tune of some kind. You KNEW what this was, but you weren't ready. You hadn't expected this, not unless you went to the human trail. Any why would you? At your size the trail was approximately 5 miles away, through unpredictable, uncharted, and hostile terrain. If like had been a challenge in this area, with all your upgrades, temporary shelters, cameras, and so on. That challenge had always been extremely risky, and what would the payoff be? Maybe you stand there for hours, avoiding predators, so that MAYBE someone might come stomping along for the briefest of glances. Not worth it. So you figured you wouldn't see another human being at this size. Well that was sounding incorrect, as your world thumped hard enough to shake your entire frame. Where was this mystery giant?
Suddenly, above one of the roots that guarded your shelter, a massive figure emerged. She was simply enormous. Strawberry brunette, short hair, fit, tan, and no less than an 8, emerald eyes, blue top, tight khaki hiking shorts, legs that went on forever, large backpack. Beauty to match her absolutely intimidating form. You had run the numbers, at your size, a six foot person would be approximately 1300 feet. Basically the size of the Empire State Building. You had thought that was intellectually astounding, but actually witnessing a moving, living skyscraper was insane. You were in awe.
The woman looked out over the glade that had been your home these past four months. No longer humming, she seemed to be assessing the spot. With a smile, her mouth opened and a thundering "Perfect!" echoed down into your minuscule ears. Lifting one of her enormous hiking boots well over the root, it planted itself firmly down the hill, well over 400 feet from you and your shelter, shaking you greatly, as the woman strode partially over you. Her other foot followed, and you could feel even from this distance the air displacement she caused. You dropped your water container in shock over this entire experience. The woman proceeded another dozen steps before stopping in the middle of the glade, each step shaking you, each boot crushing down on the grass, pebbles, and likely insects that often outsized you, she didn't even notice. She dominated the landscape you called home, that to you was the size of a county at least. Removing her large backpack and dropping it to the ground, to the displacement of tons of dust you saw her rooting around inside. It seemed like you had a new guest in your home, one who had no idea of your existence, no idea she was being watched by another sentient being.
What happens next?
