You sit for about 20 minutes, unable to calm down realizing that Tora technically can make you do whatever she wants. Luckily for you Lizzie's place is quite far from Tora's, so there shouldn't be a risk of meeting her around here. And right now you could use a beer or two to ease your mind from all that stress. You rarely drink alcohol outside from parties, knowing what the effects of overusing it might be, but this is a special situation.
Luckily, Lizzie left her keys for you so going out for a while isn't a big problem. You take them, and close the door as you exit her apartment, she shouldn't be back for few hours, and you should be done with shopping in max 30 minutes, so there shouldn't be problem with that. When you leave the building, you walk towards the nearest grocery store. Luckily you were here a few times before, so you know where's the closest one.
You reach the store by walking in about 5 minutes. After you take the shop basket you go there and start browsing the products. As you do a strangely familiar voice reaches your ears.
"Damn, why did Mom have to make me go do the family shopping. It's, like, totally unfair!" Someone says in bratty tone.
After you turn towards that person, you see an attractive young female, she is rather tanned and has long bright blonde hair. She seems a bit younger than you, probably 17-19 years old. You can't shake off the feeling that you already know her from somewhere.
"Huh? What are you looking at, creep?" She says when turning towards you and noticing your glance.
"Uh... sorry for that!" You quickly apologize and stop looking at her.
However then you can hear her steps coming closer towards you. Why would she do that?
"Hey, I know you! You're the ex-boyfriend of my sis!" She says.
At this moment realization comes to you. You indeed know her already, she is Beth, Tora's younger sister. You met her few times when going out with Tora. Their relationship seemed to be somewhat of a sibling rivalry, with Beth constantly feeling that she is in her sister's shadow and wanting to prove she is better than her. She also tended to act like quite a brat often...
"Why do you stand quiet like that? Are you, like, trying to creep me out?" She says looking at you suspiciously.
"No, I just... had a feeling we met already just couldn't remember exactly." You answer honestly.
"Wow, it's either the truth, or one of, like, lamest pickup lines I ever heard." She says.
"Well, anyway, it was nice seeing you again, Beth. But I have to go..." You say trying to excuse yourself, and try to go continue shopping.
"Wait a sec!" She says in somewhat commanding tone, reminding you of Tora.
"Huh?" You turn towards her.
"I actually planned to visit my sis today, and since you are her ex boyfriend I have few questions for you." Says Beth.
"What kind of questions?" You ask.
"You were going out for quite a while. Do you know, like, any weaknesses my sis might have?" She asks.
So she still has that tendency to keep trying to show everyone that she is better than Tora...
"Well... I can't think of anything. You know Tora is rather careful about revealing anything like that to people." You tell her.
"Jeez, I guess she was right when she was talking about you more as a servant than an actual boyfriend..." She says with disappointment.
"Well, anyway, I would be grateful If you didn't tell Tora that you saw me here today." You say trying to excuse yourself again.
"Hmm? Are you, like, hiding from her or something?" Says Beth.
"Well it doesn't really matter, just don't tell her." You say.
"And what will I have from that?" Asks Beth with a somewhat mischievous smile appearing on her face.
You suddenly realize that coming to this store might have been a huge mistake after all...Lizzie will be back at hers ready to see you in not too long from now...
"Well, you will have my thanks..." You reply.
"That's, like, totally boring. I guess I will tell my sis about seeing you there then..." Says Beth.
"Fine... what do you want me to do in exchange for not telling Tora?" You say in resigned tone.
