You look out the side door and watch as the terrain changed from meadow fields to snowy mountains and forests, Miller leans over to you, "we're regrouping and amassing our remaining forces, unfortunately these creatures aren't our only worry, we have enemy forces pushing in through areas of Alaska and Califor-" Miller starts saying before getting cut off mid-sentence by a sudden flash of light out side the helicopter and an alarm coming from the cockpit. "Whats going on?!" you yell over the alarm, "SAMs!" yelled the pilot, someone was trying to shoot you down, suddenly there was another alarm, "deploying flares" one of the pilots yelled into his headset, outside the Black Hawk flares shot out and the pilot rolled to the left to break the lock the missile had on the helicopter.
Suddenly there was a loud explosion followed by the helicopter tumbling out of the sky, you barely had time to ready yourself before the Black Hawk slammed into the snow packed ground before finally sliding to a halt, you are just able to look around the wrecked inside of the helo before you pass out. When you come to you were the only one inside save for the limp bodies of the pilots in their seats, slowly you check yourself for injuries. Your left ankle and right shoulder are in pain, it fells like you dislocated your shoulder and it was relocated incorrectly and you head is throbbing with a massive headache. Slowly you twist your head from side to side, cracking you neck, "aahh, at least I can make that pain go away" you say to yourself, carefully you climb out of the wrecked helicopter, mindful of your leg.
Outside you see footprints headed away, "must have been the guys" you say to yourself, slowly you begin to follow the prints, you didn't get far before a gunshot rang out and a bullet flew past your head. At the top of a hill was a group of soldiers and they were running at you, guns raised, a couple dropped down and fired off a few shots that landed in the snow around you. Quickly you raise your rifle and return fire, hitting two and scattering the rest, suddenly you become aware of a new sound, the sound of helicopter blades, just then a Ka-50 Black Shark attack helicopter crested the hill and came bearing down on you, "Oh shi-" you start just as the Black Shark opened fire with its 30mm gun.
You dive out of the way of the oncoming strafing run and look around for a means of escape, behind you was the dense forest and to your right was a large selection of caves and mountains to possibly hide in, you turn and watch the Black Shark as it makes a quick roll before coming back around............................
