This choice: You start growing the other players • Go Back... While you were busy focusing on the red team's goalie, the rest of the game was still being played on the other half of the field. Turning your attention to the rest of the players, you start scanning them for your next target. Right in the middle of the action was a tall blonde girl on the red team, currently trying to get the ball past a smaller, light brown-haired girl on the white team. Wasting no time, you fired a burst at the blonde girl, right as she and the defender made contact. As you expected, the blonde girl grew a small, but noticeable amount. To your surprise, however, the white team's defender also grew the same amount. You theorized that she must have grown because she was touching the blonde girl when you fired, much like their clothes did. Armed with this new knowledge, and a desire to see the rest of the girls in the game grow, you continued looking for opportunities to grow them.
You wanted to make a game out of growing the players like you did with the red team's goalie. You wanted to see how big you could grow everyone before they noticed anything was wrong. To keep suspicion down, you stuck with using small bursts, spreading them around so that all the players stayed at roughly the same heights relative to each other.
You started by firing at the players farthest away from the ball, two red team defenders and a froward from the white team. All three grew a couple inches, unaware of the changes. Then you turned to the white team's goalie. She was a brunette like the red team's, and you wanted to grow her similarly to the opposing goalie. Unfortunately, you couldn't do it all in one shot like you did before, so you were going to have to make do with growing her in stages. Luckily for you, you could grow her a bit faster than the other players since the rest of the players usually weren't focused on the goalies. Giving the goalie a moderate burst, you watched her creep upwards about 6 inches before stopping. Just in time too, since the red team was beginning an attack on her goal. The red team's blonde forward that you had grown earlier broke free from her defender, dribbled a couple times, and took a shot at the goal. Diving to her side, the white team's goalie was just able to block it, sending it out of bounds for a corner kick.
The corner kick turned out to be the best thing you could've hoped for. With all the players bunched up in one area, you would easily be able to grow them all at once, and they'd be sure to grow at the same rate, too. The girl taking the corner kick ran off to go get the ball, leaving the other 10 players an easy target for you. While everyone was struggling to gain the ideal position, you started firing into the crowd. Surely enough, you could see the whole group of girls swelling up simultaneously. They were growing slower than when you had been shooting at them individually, but they were growing consistently, and in what felt like no time at all, they had passed the 7 foot mark. The corner kick taker had just gotten the ball out to the corner when she realized her shoe was untied. As she bent down to retie it, you kept your finger on the trigger, pouring on the growth for everyone else. Just like with the red team's goalie at the other end, everyone's clothes were growing perfectly with them, and they were too distracted to notice that they were growing.
When the girl finally finished tying her shoe, you let go of the trigger and admired your work. The goalie on the white team was even taller than the red team's goalie, with the top of the goal only coming up to her chin. The rest of the players were all around equal with the top bar. You were impressed with what the gun could do. In a span of about 10 minutes, you had grown 11 normal-sized girls to a height of 8 feet or more each, and all their clothes had grown with them, leaving them completely unaware of the fact that they were growing so huge. You felt kind of bad for the one girl that you left at normal size, but on the other hand you did have to admit that it would be kind of funny to see her realize that everyone but her had become a giant.
In front of the goal, you watched as the goalie took a step back to get in position. Being larger than she was used to, she took too big of a step, and ended up smacking her head on the goal's crossbar. "Ow!" she said. "What just hit me?" She turned around to try to find what hit her, before she looked down and realized she was standing above the top of the goal. "Oh my god! I'm huge!" The other players stopped jostling with each other to look at the goalie. One by one, you could see each of them realize that they, too, had grown. Their reactions were mostly ones of confusion, but you saw that the blonde girl from the red team that you had grown first seemed quite happy about the new circumstances.  | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
