Putting it down for now

You decide to play more with the gun later. You put it down on the kitchen table and head to your room for a quick nap. You are startled awake a few hours later by a steady knocking noise. You look at the clock and see that you've been asleep for a few hours, and now someone's trying to see you at 8pm? Who could it be? You cautiously open a drawer and hide the size ray before going to the door and opening it. Who's there to see you?
