As you walk out the door you remember you are stationed out in the sweltering heat of a desert. " Hey Mike wait up" you hear behind you, you turn around and see your co-pilot running up to you. "What's up?" You ask as he nears, " we got a new guy in the bird today, some special forces combat medic I think" he says. "On a routine flight?" you ask confused, the co-pilot shrugs and walks with you toward your BlackHawk on the tarmac. As you approach the helicopter you see standing there was a soldier in combat fatigues with an M14 marksmen rifle and a large medical bag, "you must be my unexpected passenger?" you ask. "Thats me. Sergeant Durrant" he says holding out a hand, "you plan on shooting anything from my bird with that?" you ask pointing to the M14.
Durrant laughs, "no to be honest I like using one of these " he says pointing to one of the M240Bs mounted on the side of the BlackHawk., "Well get snapped in we're taking off soon" you tell him, he nods and climbs in the helicopter while you and the other three crew members run a check over the BlackHawk. After and hour of checking the systems you climb into the cockpit and start up the engines, fifteen minutes later and you were flying over the desert, "whats that?" asks the co-pilot pointing out the cockpit window, you follow his finger and see what looks like a person standing off in the distance. "It looks like a person, but I thought this part of the desert was un-inhabited?" you say confused, "it is" says Durrant on the headset.
"Lets go check it out, they may be lost" you say turning towards the figure in the distance, but as you near the figure you see multiple warning lights blink on the instrument panel. Suddenly the BlackHawk gave a hard shudder and started flying erratically and dropping altitude, despite your best efforts the helicopter was still plummeting towards the ground, "brace for a hard landing" you yelled as you neared the sandy ground. The last thing you remember was someone screaming a name before crashing nose first into the ground, knocking you unconscious. When you come to you find yourself still strapped to your seat, you look to your left and see your co-pilot still there, you reach over and check his pulse: still beating, you look over your shoulder and see the two crew chiefs sprawled out on the floor and judging from the fact that they were still breath, also alive, but Durrant was nowhere to be seen.
You hear faint footsteps outside, like someone walking in the sand, you reach down and unsnap your MP5K from your leg holster, pull on the charging handle and take aim out the door. Standing there was........
