You don't know how long you had been wedged between your wife's titanic butt cheeks, but after what felt like an eternity, you hrs the phone ring, and Maggie answers it. "Sheriff's Office. Oh, Mayor, it's you! Is there a problem? Huh? What do you mean you've hired a professional? But Mayor, we're doing the best we can! Fine. Who was it again? Are you serious?! But she's a psychopath! Fine, send her over."
Maggie hangs up the phone and growls in frustration. "What's wrong, Boss?" Asks Jolene. "The mayor says we're not making enough progress on the Specter case, so she's hired a bounty hunter to get the job done." For the last six months, Dreadberry has been terrorized by a string of bank robberies. But no evidence has been found as to who the perpetrator could be, no fingerprints, DNA, nothing. Whoever it is somehow breaks into the vault, clears out the money, and vanishes without a trace. But there are no signs of forced entry, and nothing ever appears on the bank's security cameras. The mysterious thief has been dubbed "The Specter", because it seems as though he can just walk through the walls of the vault.
"Who is this bounty hunter?" Jolene asked. Maggie growls again "Bona Fete." Maggie hated bounty hunters, and especially Bona Fete. They had never met, but she knew Bona by reputation. She was the most feared and relentless bounty hunter in the entire monster world, a loose cannon willing to kill her targets no matter what their crimes may be. Jolene on the other hand, idolized Bona Fete, and squealed with glee when Maggie said her name.
"No way! You mean the Bona Fete? This is gonna be awesome!"
Half an hour later, Bona arrived. She was a 950 foot tall gargoyle, just a head shorter than your wife. She had grey skin with black hair, and a muscular build. She wore a black metal chestplate with a skull painted on it like the Punisher, Kevlar pants, with her arms covered in tattoos, each one symbolizing a kill she's made. Following her was her pet fenrir, and a giant, ferocious wolf. When they walked into Maggie's office, you could hear her fenrir growling.
"Easy, Ripper." Said Bona before turning to Maggie, who glared at her. " I take it you're the one the Mayor of this charming little town hired me to help?" Maggie growls again "I'll have you know we don't need the help of your kind here." Said Maggie "I'm only working with you because I have to."
Bona scoffs "You don't need help? If your mayor had hired me in the first place, I'd have caught this Specter criminal within a day. So just stay out of my way, kitten." It was this point that Maggie gets up from her chair and storms across the room, getting in Bona's face, snarling. Bona just smirks.
"Go ahead, make one move, it'll be the last thing you ever do."
While this was going on, Ripper begins sniffing the air, picks up a peculiar smell, and begins barking. Maggie looks down and asks "What's wrong with your mutt?" Ripper follows the smell , which leads to him stocking his knows up to Maggie's rump. "Care explain why your dog is sniffing my rear?" Bona chuckles.
"Ripper knows the scent of humans well. Either he likes you, or you've got a human wedged in your ass."
