You hear stomping and then looked up to see a massive muscled shadow that looked somewhat canine. Well, close. It was your next door neighbor, the werehyena, Summer Macbeth, in all her naked muscle bound glory. From the look on her face she wasn't in a good mood, not that she ever was. Still she would never harm a human, so as she's picking up her own newspaper, you decide to greet her.
"Good morning Summer!" you yell up to her. Summer turns and looks down on you. "What's so good about it Neil," she replies. "Don't poke the hyena. I'm not in the mood for chatting today." You stand up your newspaper as Summer starts walking back towards her house. That was when Summer's other neighbor, Flora the spriggan pokes her head over the fence separating their yards. "Hi diddly-deena, neighborina hyena!" shouts Flora in her chipper mood. "Wonderful day we're having Macbeth."
Summer was not particularly fond of Flora nor her cheerful demeanor and looks at the fairy with disdain. "Uh-oh," says Flora. "Someone's grumpy. Come on Summer, a smile's a rainbow you wear on your face." "Shut up Flanders!" yells Summer rudely. Summer spots a large rock in her yard and you look on as she picks it up and tosses it at Flora. However, Flora catches the rock and smiles. "Why thank you Summer," she says. "This will make a fine addition to my rock garden." Summer growls and grabs her ears in frustration before she stomps into her house. "Trespassers will be shot!" shouts Summer. "Especially trespassers who are dead to me!" She slams the door so hard you're forced to cover your ears.
You hold up your newspaper that is much bigger than yourself and rub your chin. Summer seemed to be in a particularly bad mood today. You wonder if something was bugging her since she was even grouchier than she normally is. Maybe you should check up on her. She may be in a bad mood but Summer didn't harm humans. She didn't even eat meat. Then again, it's not any of your business.
