The elevator doors were of burnished bronze, so although Cynthia could see the vague blur of her reflection in it there wasn't enough detail for her to notice her state of undress. The elevator doors 'dinged' open, and with a practice born out of habit she stepped inside and pressed the button for her floor. It was an old machine so it didn't close immediately. Cynthia looked to her side at the polished, mirror-like walls on the inside of the elevator.
"Hey there, sexy." she murmured to herself. "I see you're not wearing a bra today."
She jiggled her breasts with her hands, giggling at her playfulness.
"Not only that," she continued turning around "But I have no visible panty line... oh my gosh!"
The doors began to close as she suddenly realised she was wearing only a t-shirt. In a panic she jumped through the closing doors, thinking about nothing but returning to the laundry room. The door 'dinged' shut behind her.
"That was close." she thought. "If anyone had gotten in on the way up..."
She made to walk away - and felt a tug on her shirt. She turned her head, and her eyes widened. The hem of her t-shirt was trapped in the elevator door! The soft hum of the machinery reached her ears, and the hem began rising up.
"No no no!" she squealed.
She felt herself being pressed against the door by her t-shirt. It began to lift higher and higher, putting pressure against her chest and making it hard to breath. Though she wanted to preserve her modesty, she began to panic about the very real possibility of being crushed to death. She made a snap decision and slipped out of her top. She could only watch helplessly as it disappeared. There was a metallic 'thunk', and suddenly the elevator warning alarm started to blare. She'd broken it! Now the only way back to her room was up the stairs! And she was naked!
