This choice: She has him jailed as a potential security risk. • Go Back...Chapter #4She has him jailed as a potential security risk. by: kamper The conversation was going nowhere as far as revealing information. So, Lady Tsunade did what most would do in their position. Since she couldn’t determine if he was a security risk, she put him in jail as a security risk until proven otherwise. To be fair, leave a close to one mile crater when he arrived didn’t do him any favors and made sense why they thought he was a security risk. So after being placed in a cell, he was taken from there to a room and put in a contraption that left only his head exposed. This was their ‘intel division’ responsible for getting information out of people like him. However, unlike Kamper’s way or reading and digging through minds, their way was less refined and rather harmful.
“Making entry.” They all said as the ninja entered Kamper’s mind.
Kamper was only introduced to a man called ‘Ibiki’ and he was apparently their top information retrieval expert. He certainly looked the part. But Kamper wasn’t worried. If other Titans and demons couldn’t penetrate his mind, they sure would have a hard time. As they entered, rather than an open space to look through with a brain to enter, there was a vastly open space with a man standing in the center. They approached to address him.
“What is this?” They asked, both out of his mind and inside, asking themselves and the figure before them. Unknown to them, this was Death’s released form, guarding his mind from intruders.
“Why have you come here?” came his voice as he opened the eye that wasn’t covered with the eye patch.
“We have come to find this mind’s secrets.” Said the one that seemed to be the one in charge.
“Mortals are not welcome here.” Death said to them, not flinching at the slightest.
“We can’t leave with nothing. If we can’t see into his mind, will you answer questions for us?” The lead ninja asked.
“Very well, however, be warned. Tread lightly, I do not suffer nor fear infants of arrogance and ignorance.” Death said as a clear warning.
“What is your name?” The ninja asked.
“I have 2 names. My real name is tied to this form. I am known as ‘Death’. The form you are currently holding in restraints is known as ‘Kamper’.” Death answered.
“Really? Interesting… What purpose do you have here?” He asked.
“None. I was sent here from another world, one of which I am incapable of returning to. I have yet to establish any form of desire one way or another.” Death replied.
“You said to the Hokage, that you are a Titan. What is that exactly?” He asked.
“A Titan is a being that judges those who would proclaim themselves as ‘gods’. A Titan, in a sense, is the ultimate power of fear to those that wish to have others bow and worship them. As these ‘gods’ tend to be overly powerful, a Titan must be that much more powerful.” Death replied.
“And how powerful are you? You don’t seem like you know any jutsu, but the entrance you made makes us nervous.” The ninja replied.
“I have much to learn.” Death replied.
“You know, answering like that only makes it harder on yourself. We just want security and you aren’t helping.” He responded back, slightly annoyed.
“I am answering each of your questions with the bare truth. Most of my explanations wouldn’t make sense to you. So I am simplistic, using terms you understand.” Death answered.
“Fine, earlier you said ‘mortals’, does that mean you are… immortal?” He asked.
“Yes.” Death answered. The three before him looked at each other in slight shock. “I tire of this.”
With that said he released a seemingly small amount of energy, expelling them from his mind. He opened his eye as Kamper, outside of his mind to address the room of shocked ninja.
“Question me here or in my mind, there is little difference.” Kamper said sternly.
“You seem to think that you are in control, you are mistaken. We WILL get the information we seek, with or without your help.” Said the one called Ibiki.
“Careful sir, we haven’t learned much but what we have learned is that he is immortal. I wouldn’t underestimate him.” Said the other ninja that was in your mind for a time.
