the sword slices cleanly through your mothers neck as if it was nothing and lodges in the couch behind her, your father immediately stops snoring and you get worried for a second thinking you've woken him up, then you remember that time was supposed to stop.
you reach over to your mothers head and gently lift it off her neck, you let it go and it just stays floating in the air as you glance back over to your mother, you reach your hand over to her neck stump and feel it, it is surprisingly smooth.
after a few seconds you think it would be best if you stopped feeling up your mother, that is very weird.
you pick up your mothers head and walk to the door of the room before pressing the button on the swords hilt and restarting time whilst re-writing reality itself, and nothing happens, your parents don't move or do anything, you don't want to wake them up to see if they have any changed memories, you look down to your hand that was holding your mothers severed head only to find it gone.
'of course' you thought, if reality truly had changed then your mother never had a head so there was nothing to slice off with the sword, this was starting to confuse you, so you decide to go back to your room, you passed a few pictures on your wall, you saw your parents wedding photo and there was your mother in her dress and no head on her neck, seeing this confirmed that reality truly had changed.
