The door opened came out Steele's old gang, Kaltag, Nikki and Star, they were surprised to see their once team leader and the town's hero with huge bellies from all of the meat the Husky and wolfdog had eaten from, as some means escaped from their bellies.
"Balto? Steele?" The three dogs said in unison, clearly transfixed on the lardness of both fat canines
"Oh uh..... hi guys, didn't know you were coming *uhmp* here." Balto said as he was feeling something bubbly in his throat and a bit embarrassed of being seen by the dog sled team he worked with. Along with Steele feeling very much more embarrassed now with his old crew seeing him now being morbidly obese.
"Gah, how much meat did you guys eat? That's gotta be a lot if what I am seeing here." Kaltag said as he turns his right side with Nikki. "Yeah, that's a lot fat to store for a dog er wolf like ya Balto." said Nikki as agreed with Kaltag "Yeah, you could eat a whole horse with that gut! Hehehe....heh....." said Star as was trying to brighten the mood only to get a glare from Kaltag as he was not amused from it.
"And Steele, we could say the same for ya, why did ya guys eat the whole butcher's meat locker?" Nikki said as it looked like he was judging Steele until Balto interjected.
"Guys, it was my hic idea, I only wanted to make Steele happy as he was sad from what he did *hic* in the... oooh!" Balto said as he felt his belly moaned and gurgling loudly with a sharp pain inside his stomach feeling like something was about to burst but then moved up his softecas which let out a big.....
*Burrrup!* which shook the entire building like an Earthquake and it too shook Steele's belly as well and like a chain reaction for Steele, the sharp pain in the stomach, movement in the throat, than the loud belch from Steele.
The belching startled the three dogs as if something worse has happened to Balto and Steele but relieved as they laughed a bit.
"So you mean to tell us that you wanted to make Steele feel better?" Kaltag said from what he heard from Balto to which Steele replied. "Look guys, I am sorry I let my own ego get the best of me in the serum run, I have learned my mistakes and had accepted my humility here." Steele stated as it was clear that he understood that his actions would have led all of the town's people's children dead if he just accepted Balto's help. "So, will you guys accept me *hic* back?" Steele said as he tried to overcome his shyness from his old teammates.
