Chapter #4

a young woman begging for help.

    by: Unknown
A woman blew through the front door, eyes frantically scanning the room in a panic as she did. This woman was either just below twenty or exactly twenty, was maybe a bit shorter than Ramona was but not by much, and while she had a rather plain and unremarkable physique her face, if it weren't in such a disheveled and alarmed state, would've been stunningly beautiful, with soft cheeks sloping into a thin chin which brought attention to her button nose and small yet full lips. Her hair and eyes were a light red and deep blue respectively, rounding off her lovely facial package. Right now however that face was contorted by fear.

The woman leaped at you and grabbed onto your shirt, looking up at you pleadingly. "Please! You have to help me! Greg is still out there, I need help!" She stammered.

"What's going on?" Linda asked, bursting out of the bathroom with only a towel around her waist (no around her chest, as most ladies would have done) and running down the stairs. She was slightly disappointed to not see the Head Hunter, but perked up the more she observed the pretty young lady.

While you were a little alarmed by this woman's acting chops, but seeing as how she had a visible cellphone in her pocket and hadn't called the police allowed you to determine that she was an actor under the employ of the camp. "Slow down, I can't understand you, what happened?" You said, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

She took a few deep breaths, closing her eyes as she did. "My boyfriend Greg, he and I were on a camping trip. We were hiking up the hill when some lunatic jumped out and attacked us! Greg told me to run, said he'd hold him off, and.... and I panicked! I left my boyfriend at the hands of some knife wielding maniac!" She explained. "Please, you have to help me, Greg is in trouble and it's all my fault!"

"Don't worry, we'll-" before you could finish Ramona grabbed your sleeve.

"Discuss it. We'll discuss it together. Alone." She said. You allowed Ramona to pull you into the kitchen, and the other two girls followed. "Listen, that girl is serious trouble. She could easily be working with the headhunter to lure us out, and even if she does just need our help we'd make ourselves vulnerable by going into the woods at night." Ramona reasoned.

Linda seemed to agree, giving a single nod before adding. "The headhunter wouldn't waste his time on a guy when a girl with a head like that is up for grabs. Either this Greg guy is the hulk, or this girl... whatever her name is is just pulling our strings."

Tanya put her hand on the table. "I don't know, she seemed really sincere. Plus if this Greg guy could hold of the headhunter getting him back would be a real boon in the long run. Besides, even if she is in cahoots with the headhunter if we're all together and on the move it'll be harder for him to pick us off."

"Look girls, this woman needs our help, and the more people we have on our team the more likely we are to win this thing. If we can get her and her boyfriend on our side that's two more people the headhunter has to snag." You reason.

After a few minutes of debate...
