When Misty usually grew like this her thoughts were all red and muddled. Her first instinct to seeing Ash and Brock flee before her was to chase them down and punish them for making such a racket. She gave chase mere moments after the two had vanished into the woods. She stomped trees flat, scared bunches of sleeping pokemon and flattened smaller trees in her rage-filled chase. She didn't grew any more and her sight had a red covering over it. She saw no signs of the tiny Ash and Brock but she could hear them somewhere up ahead. It was clear the two boys were too frightened to talk to each other let alone discuss what the hell happened to their friend.
Misty kept on chasing them until she could no longer hear the two boys in front of her. When she could no longer hear Ash and Brock running from her, her red-tinted sight started to lower. That was when Misty's head started to clear. Before her mind was filled with mindless rage and pure predator's instinct to chase her quarry and possibly feed on them for daring to anger her. But now, her mind started to clear and she no longer wished to eat Ash or Brock--in fact the thought sickened her! Why would she ever do that? Why would she even think of it?! Of course it was all a part of growing. Whenever she grew, Misty's mind became that of a raging animal. Now Misty realized what she had done; she had chased Ash and Brock, most likely scaring the two nearly to death.
"Ash!" called Misty. "Brock! I'm not mad anymore!"
She started to search for her two friends. Now that she was calm, Misty expected that she would shrink back down.....only she didn't. She still stayed the same size at...how tall was she now? Judging by the trees she towered over, Misty estimated her height to be a little over eighty feet. Why wasn't she shrinking? Misty wasn't panicked. After all she was used to not shrinking right away. But it still bothered her that she was now looking for her friends as a giant. Would they even approach her now?
"Ash!" called Misty. "Brock! I'm sorry I scared you. I'm better now!"
No answer.
"Why am I not shrinking?!" asked Misty aloud. Then she calmed down, not wanting to trigger another growth spurt.
