Walk away as was expected.

As he watched her skip to the next house, Scott breathed a sigh of relief. There was something about that girl that didn't seem right. He couldn't put his finger on what exactly but something about her made him feel uneasy. Maybe the heat and the size of everything was getting the better of him.

He walked for hours, and the house didn't look like it was getting any closer. Traversing across the lawn was taking longer than he expected. If he hadn't had to worry about predators he might have made better progress. At least the ants ignored him. With their collective consciousness they didn't see him as a threat or a food source. It was about two in the afternoon when he stumbled on what he immediately thought was the answer to some of his problems.

Directly in front of him was the Millennium Falcon.

The plastic and diecast replica of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy rested on it's landing gear. It surprisingly didn't feel out of place in this front yard jungle. He half expected to see Han Solo make an appearance. Scott wandered around it until he saw the lower ramp almost closed, but just wide enough for someone his size to squeeze through. Climbing up onto the grass that was pressing up against it, he pushed his back pack through and then squeezed himself in.

The interior was gloomy. Striking a flair he made a quick inspection of the interior and was pleased to find it completely insect free. About as near as he could tell the layout was almost exactly like the movie set, just not as detailed. There were figures in there too. They were a bit larger than he was but they were to the scale of the toy Falcon. This would serve his purposes perfectly. It gave him shelter, and no doubt when the kid who left it outside returned to retrieve it it also would be his way into the house.

He heard the Bus, looking beyond the grass he could see the three children he encountered earlier walking back up the walkway to the house. Even from where he stood, Scott could feel the foot falls vibrating through the ground. He mused that if they were aware of him they might help him. But they were not aware of him. Not yet anyway. Hopefully that might be sooner than later.

As a precaution, Scott set up camp in the Falcon. The plastic floor wasn't exactly comfortable but it beat the alternative. By the time the sun was starting to set Scott was certain he was ready for what the night would bring him. He could hear voices from within the house. The voices of the kids and the mother, but no father it seemed. Either he was away, or she was divorced or widowed. They were probably having a hot meal while he sat in the cockpit of the Falcon eating a protein bar.

He was nodding off when he was brought to full alert by the ground shaking and the sound of footsteps. At first he thought maybe it was just someone walking up the walkway, but then he heard the crunching of grass underfoot. Then a Giant came into his field of Vison.
