Being home alone for a while definitely affected Lucas... and his gut.
It was morning near the end of June. Lucas' parents had been gone for a little over a month, but continued to mail him plenty of money daily. Lucas rolled around in his bed with just his underwear on- it was all that fit him. Because his room had its own bathroom, Lucas only left his room for food. The reason he stirred was because the garbage truck that went through his neighborhood was excessively loud. Eventually, the truck proved to annoying and Lucas finally got up. It was noon. The 12-year-old stood up out of bed and kicked over an empty soda can (he made little effort to clean his room). His stomach, now bearing several stretch marks and had grown in size from a month ago growled at him. Lucas' butt, thighs, and moobs had also grown. Lucas patted his stomach, saying "Time for breakfast, I guess."
But breakfast for the pre-teen consisted of mainly chips, chocolate, and ice cream. After a bag of chips, half a carton of ice cream, and several chocolate bars, Lucas' belly roared once again, demanding more. "So soon? I just ate!" With his parents gone, eating was Lucas' primary past-time. The pre-teen ate only fattening foods, and it had an affect on his growing appetite and figure. He mustered the courage to step on the scale to see what his weight was:
181lbs
Lucas stood there shocked, for though he knew he was heavier, he didn't think it was that much. But then he realized: his belly hung over his underwear, he now had fat rolls, his moobs sagged, his arms flabby, his butt and thighs jiggled as he walked, his face was chubbier. In sadness he said, "I think I'm gonna get an early lunch..." He ordered McDonald's through Doordash and got way more than he knew he should have. When it arrived, he drowned his sorrows by shoving everything he could into his mouth. But later his stomach growled again, but this time in pain. Sitting on the floor of his room, he burped and said, ""I... ugghhh... think I... ate too much..." and with that, he passed out.
Later hewoke back up. It was about 6pm. What should he do?
