"Something to do with an enchanted bracelet, right?" you ask
"Yeah" Maya responds "We need to retrieve it from a nearby ruin for the client. He's willing to pay big for it too."
"Good to hear" you say "We need the money"
"I'm so excited! I'm going to eat so much tonight!" says Maya, quite entheusiastically.
"Don't forget, Maya. We need to pay rent before we start spending all of our money on food. We're already behind on our payments and we could get evicted if we're not careful."
" *Sigh* Fine..."
You and maya had been travelling for a good two days now to get to the ruin. Thankfully it had been decently sunny all week, which made travel by foot much easier.
"We should be getting close now" says Maya "Keep your eyes open for the ruin"
"Right"
You and Maya continue to walk until you notice what appears to be part of a large stone fort that was now tipped over and left mostly buried.
You also notice something else...
"Get down!" says Maya in a loud whisper as she pushes you onto the ground, nearly slamming your head into it.
"What is it?" you ask. Maya points near the ruin with her finger at a small group of moving figures.
"What do you think it is?" You ask.
"I don't know... But I don't like it."
They appear to be moving things from a wagon into the ruin.
