Can you help these poor mice survive, or will your decisions be the death of them?

This choice: Wake her up  •  Go Back...
Chapter #6

Going to meet a new friend

    by: ItsMe Author IconMail Icon
         You poke her bloated belly.
She ate an entire glass of chocolate in less than an hour. She shouldn't be alive. She blinked herself awake and yawned. "It's time to leave. We'll meet up with Solace. That woman that wanted to see you." The mouse nodded, scraping her finger against the chocolate on the glass getting a final lick. She moved her hands like a little child asking to be picked up. You dump her on your hand, wash her off and placed her in your pocket once more. She curled up and continued to sleep.
You get into your car and started to drive. After a mile, Jessica woke up and peeped her head out of your pocket. "Are we almost there?" You nod and pat her head, pushing her in your pocket as you keep your eyes on the road. You're not going to get a ticket for not having a passenger seat belted. But you aren't sure if that law applies to micen. You pat your pocket, the first pat she was there but the second pat, she was gone. You look in your pocket, and low and behold she was missing. "Thank you for not eating me, by the way." She said, sitting in the passenger seat. "I'm sure it crossed your mind once or twice. Seeing a chubby micen covered in chocolate could be tempting even to me."
Now that she mention it, her stomach was as flat as the first time you saw her. You kept your eyes on the road but glanced at her to see if her gut was flat or if you were seeing things. When you looked however, she was gone. "You're a really good chef, but you already know that." She said, sitting on your dashboard.
You gesture towards her. "Alright, this teleportating thing is just getting creepy now. And please get off the dash, I don't want anything to happen to you." While she was still, you have noticed that she successfully digested all the food from before, which was enough to feed a micen for at least a week. "You ate a lot of food, you know? That dessert is coming out of my paycheck."
Jessica hopped onto your hand and you set her down in the chair beside you. "Thank you, again. I thought you'd try to kill me for flipping you off."
"You going to tell me how you keep escaping?"
"A good magician never reveals her secrets."
"How good are you at escaping a stomach?"
"Uhm.." The question surprisingly made her uncomfortable. "Why?"
"How much would you like to bet that's why Solace wants to see you?"
"I'm sure she just wants to see me. Besides, she wouldn't eat your micen, would she?"
"Are you my micen?" You tilt your head to the side. "You keep escaping.
She stuck her tongue out. "Well, you keep feeding me. So there isn't a reason why I'd want to leave." Next thing you know, she was dangling from your hair "It's not like you can catch me." You quickly swipe her, instinctively holding her in front of your mouth, before moving your arm away. She folded her arms on across her chest and smirked. "So, why don't you eat me?"
You're entertaining to a degree and you remind me of someone. "Because Solace want's to see you." You answer
"What happens after that?" She hummed
"We'll see. I'm pretty sure there isn't enough food for the both of us in my home."
You're apartment is just around the corner.

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. Jessica hops back into your pocket

*Pen*
2. Jessica hops onto your nose, daring you to eat her.

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
