You look forward and see a shadow that looks human from the waist up but with a serpentine tail with shark fins. Then you look and see a smiling face filled with serrated teeth and bright red eyes. "Hi Drew." You say. The frilled landshark smiles and waves down at you with her webbed fingers.
You had gotten used to Drew. Even though she was a landshark like her aunt Zoe, she didn't eat humans and she wasn't going to tell Zoe that you were human. Not that she could seeing as she was mute and her aunt was blind. You wonder how they can even communicate.
As you walk forward, Drew holds her hands in front of her face and you see that she painted eyes on her palms. Then she starts to shiver and wraps her naga-esque tail around herself. You smile and shake your head. Something about that girl wasn't right, but her family was kinda messed up since her cousin was in a mental hospital and her aunt is blind and senile. But they're all friendly, as long as Zoe doesn't know you're a human.
Drew then bends over and picks you up to place on her shoulder before she smiles at you. "So, Drew, what brings you here?" Drew rubs her chin and chews on her webbed fingers because she didn't know how to answer you since she couldn't talk. But then she spots a clipboard and paper that Roxy left out and snatches it with her tail to write her message out.
