You are a traveling cartographer, making maps of all lands and towns, no matter how big or small. Recently, you have stopped at a pretty small village, consisting mostly of Goombas and Koopas, but also some other species, like Bomb-ombs, and Boos, which are much rarer to see in a village in general. While you are off at a store, resupplying yourself with more paper and ink, you start to feel a little jolt in your body, which makes you feel a bit, exhausted for some reason. You, think of it as nothing, as you exit the store with your supplies, passing a pink Bomb-omb, who seems interested in something in one of the jewels that they have in the display case.
Before you leave the shop, you feel the same jolt again, but this time, stronger, and more painful. You drop your supplies and collapse to the ground, watching the world around you hazily turn to black.
You awaken, and still on the shop floor, but something is different. You grasp your hand to grab your map supplies without looking, but all you get is air. You look to your left to see a ink bottle twice the size of you. It seems that I had shrunk You thought, giving yourself some exposition to calm you down. You think of ways to get yourself out of this mess, but you can't think of any, until... "THE BOMB-OMB!" You exclaimed, standing up and running to where the pink Bomb-omb originally was.
Luckily, she was still looking at the jewels in the case, not noticing the fact that a person shrank right behind her. You think of ways to get her attention, since being in a shrunken state does give you some disadvantages from just tapping her in the....... How do you really approach a Bomb-omb from behind? You forget that thought entirely and decide to do the oldest trick in the book, the "Shout and jump"
"Hello!? Excuse me? Can you help me, miss?" You shout, right behind the Bomb-omb, which makes her jump a little and turn around, looking side to side, not really noticing you on the ground. Confused, she takes a step forward, almost stepping on you. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to get so close You thought, backing up a bit, knowing that if she takes another step, you'll probably get smushed by her foot.
Does she notice you?
