As soon as you finished writing it became very obvious to you that Susan hadn't been joking about the power of the notebook. The second you lifted pencil from paper you saw that your hand was no longer your own. In the blink of an eye your pale white hand turned into a black hand with some fake red nails attached to it. "What the..." You said and you saw that your hand wasn't the only thing to change. Looking back at you in the mirror was the image of your school's star member of the girl's basketball team Shawna Jackson, already suited up in her uniform.
"Jeez Susan, it's actually true." You said, you were so distracted over your sudden body and gender change you didn't notice that Susan had taken the notebook back and was writing away. By the time you noticed she was already done, "What are you doing?"
Susan smiled, "Just some quality of life stuff to make things easier for both of us." Susan showed you the notebook and saw that she had written, No matter what body Daniel has he will be considered my sibling. "I figured that this will make it easier on you so that you wouldn't have to live with this girl's family and it makes it more fun for be because I get to see you adjust."
"Adjust? Why? Just give me the notebook so I can erase the basketball thing so I get back to normal. You've proven to beyond a shadow of doubt that thing is real and freaky and has a messed up sense of humor. I mean, why the hell did it turn me into Shawna instead of one of the star guys?"
Susan laughed, "What star guys? The boy's team stinks, they hardly ever win while the girls make the playoffs just about every year. And I'll be keeping the notebook to myself, after all, you've got a game to get to." Susan then began to write in the notebook again.
"What are you talking about, basketball season doesn't start for another month?" You said, but as soon as you said it you got a text. You looked down and saw a message from someone only listed as 'Coach'. Shawna, get down to the gym ASAP. The exhibition game starts in an hour.
You couldn't believe it, you'd forgotten that the girl's had a special exhibition game today against a rival school. You don't know why it happened, but it was scheduled and now you had to play in it.
"We'll talk more about this when I get back, make sure you have that eraser ready." You said as you grabbed you gym bag and left to go to the game that Susan had just created from thin air thanks to the notebook without telling you. Susan spun her pencil around in her fingers as she said to herself and the notebook, "Oh I'm going to have a lot of fun with you."
