Ask her again what she was talking about

    by: Immaturity Author IconMail Icon
You walk over to her side and say "Felicity?"

"huh?" she seems disoriented. "Oh, did you get me these?" she holds up the earrings.

"Yes." you say. "but..."

"They are beautiful." she says. "I love them. Thank you Tamara."

"What were you just talking about?" you ask.

"When?" she replies.

"Just then." you say. "Samantha took our photo. You said your invention worked."

"I did?" she asks.

"Yes." you say, getting a little annoyed. "What invention are you talking about?"

"Maybe it worked..." she says, mostly to herself. "What else did I say?"

"You said you'd explain in a week." you inform her.

"Wow." she says. "Only a week away. That's great."

"What's only a week away?" you ask.

"Finishing my invention." she says.

"What invention?" you demand, now sick of this game.

"Shh." she whispers. "It's a secret. I've been working on a time machine."

"Really?" you ask. "So that wan't you just then... or it was you but from the future?"

"Yeah." she says. "If my machine works it will let me jump my mind back in time to any point in my life where I was photographed."

You have the following choices:

1. Ask to see her machine

*Noteb*
2. Refuse to believe her

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
