Chapter #4

The Gathering

    by: Zaru Author IconMail Icon
It was a rainy night over at the Tipsy Mountain, a tavern located in the middle of nowhere. True to it's name, it was based at the foot of a mountain outside of a lumber town.

And in walks a patron that makes the heads of mean turn sharply, one of them even spat out his drink into his beard.

She was tall, with a pointy wizard's hat on her crown as she sashayed through the crowd. She had a confident smirk about her as she donned a dark purple dress with a white top of sorts, then again, said top couldn't contain the great chest that was bouncing to and fro with each walk.

She was the Sorceress, a beautiful vixen and a master of the dark arts. She flicked aside some of her long red hair, and her auburn-brown eyes scanned the crowds.

'Typical average men. Going bonkers over me. What else is new?' She mentally said out loud as she shrugged. The sorceress raised a hand, and almost instantly a waiter came over, knees shaking.

"Y-Yes ma'am?" He asked, face deep pink and smiling like a fool.

"4 Steins of the best mead you got." She reached into her chest and pulled some several gold coins. "On the double. Oh," she turned around. "This table is saved so don't think none of you can sit over here!"

A collection of groans rang out.

"O-On it ma'am!" And the waiter ran off, leaving the Sorceress to herself.

"Where are they? Didn't that man in the letter tell us to meet here?" She pondered outloud.

"I did." Said a voice which made the vixen jump, turning around and ready to chastise but...

Before her was an average height man dressed in black robes of sort, but not too long to impede movement. He had a dark green undershirt and had dark brown boots of sort. His skin was olive, but exactly dark but more of the line of the exotic peoples of the east yet his facial structure looked more like a westerner. He had shoulder long silver hair and piercing gold orbs that looked like jewels. He was scowling a bit and looked annoyed but...

'OHMEGODHESAHOTTY!' Thought the Sorceress to herself, being taken back and having hearts in her eyes and blushing.

"Your acting weird. Sit down." The man sat at the table with her sitting next to her and looking stoic. Sorceress shook her head.

'Calm down calm down! Just take it slow...play it cool...' She thought to herself. She then smirked a bit.

"So, are you the one who sent the letter?" She shuffled in her seat a bit, hoping to show some of her cleavage a bit. Now she isn't above above using her body to get what she wants, but she wouldn't sell herself for sex. Sorceress had standards. But this ripe olive hunk...she was gonna play her cards just how she plays them.

"Yes. I am the Thief who sent you the letter. And you're clearly the Sorceress." Said Thief as his eyes looked over to her, not at all looking down at her breasts but at her eyes.

The waiter soon returned with four steins of mead, and hurried along when he saw the glare Thief gave him. "I see you ordered us drinks. My thanks."

Sorceress blushed a bit. He was complimenting and thanking her!

"O-Oh! It's no worry at all, I just-"

The sound of the door opening cut off Sorceress as she turned her head, while Thief simply took a sip. He had a feeling who was here judging by the footsteps.
