"C-Cody...W-wait!!" You waved your arms again. He had to see that you weren't a bug. There was no way he could mistake you for...
Time slowed as the young boy began to lift his socked foot into the air in front of you. The 10 year old licked his lips as his socked-foot hovered directly over you, posed to stomp the tiny insect at his feet. The experience was even more vivid than your nightmare. The boy's toes wriggled with anticipation as the shadow of his foot encompassed you entirely. You remembered all the times you had wrestled Cody to the ground and tickled this very foot in order to put him into submission. Now that relatively small foot was capable of crushing you in an instant. Cody had never been a threat to anyone or anything, anything but bugs....but now you were so small that there was hardly much of a difference, at least not to Cody.
Cody seemed to take his time, almost as if he wanted to see you run. You couldn't though, your legs were locked in place out of total fear.
The vast grey surface above you was clearly damp. Little specks of cotton slowly dropped from the vast sole as he wriggled his toes, causing the fabric to stretch.
He couldn't resist it any longer, he wanted to crush the tiny bug so bad.
"Bye bye..." Cody whispered with a smirk as his foot came down quickly. There was an audible smacking sound as the sock-clad foot made contact with the hard surface of the floor. Cody could also feel a tiny crunch, making him happily hum with satisfaction. His toes curled with delight.
Cody lifted his head to find that the class had already left to the gymnasium. Not even checking to see the red blotch now smeared across his sole, Cody slid his sneakers on an ran after the class.
