Ashley, being the ever obedient worker, agreed to solve Samantha's 'problem'. "We really need to bring her on to the team philosophy. I'd recommend using some team skills to accomplish this task." Samantha told her.
That night Ashley brainstormed a plan she hoped would work. Samantha wanted Denise to be a team player, so maybe she needed some team support. Folks like Fran and Tasha took care of themselves, they didn't need to be edged on to gobble down sweets. It wasn't going to be enough just to tempt Denise with lots and lots of delectables, she needed to be hands on. Maybe if Ashley sat down and enjoyed food with Denise she would be more apt to take part.
The next day she set the plan in place. Everyone else's appetite was on autopilot, so she focused herself on Denise all day. At first it was a small cake she split with her and ate with her at her desk, making sure she ate the whole thing while she was there. Then she made sure she was sucking down all of her milkshake and getting a large refill. She split a box of donuts with Denise, and then a plate of gourmet cookies. All day Ashley was bringing food over to Denise's desk.
Denise started to get wise a little bit. She was curious why Ashley was sitting with her all day and none of the other girls. Ashley's response was that she just didn't know Denise all that well and wanted to get to know her better. Secretly she was pumping her full of sugar.
By days end Denise had consumed triple what she would have on a normal day. She was stuffed. She thanked Ashley for spending so much time with her today as she left to go home. Ashley grinned as she was so proud of her work. Unbenounced to Ashley though, she was quite full as well. Her small belly was looking quite taught in her small business suit. Ashley gathered her things and left for the day, ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
