Jenna sat at the airport waiting to board the plane. The gigantic woman was struggling to fit in the double wide seat in the airport terminal. Victoria and Christina were the first to join Jenna.
Christina actually looked a lit thicker than usual. Perhaps the rest of the office was rubbing off on her.
Victoria dropped her carry-on bag and sat down next to Jenna. Victoria’s hands were full of food from around the airport. Her chubby cheeks had numerous sauces and stains on them from her recent snacking.
“Hey Vicky, I thought you were on a diet to get into beach shape?” Jenna asked. Victoria had been declaring ever since the trip was announced that she was going to lose weight so she would be in shape for the beach. Of course at 270 pounds the idea of getting into shape in just a month was ludicrous, but Victoria was a bit too naïve and oblivious to understand that. In fact Victoria had actually gained weight. She was almost 300 pounds!
“Yeah I’ve been on a diet all month. I figured that now that were on the trip I could celebrate.” Victoria said, taking a sip of mountain dew.
“How much weight did you lose? What’s your weight now?” Christina asked.
“Oh I didn’t bother to ever weight myself. Numbers can be deceiving. Besides if you just look I think it’s pretty obvious that I’ve gotten slimmer.” Victoria said. She patted her fatter growing belly. Christina rolled her eyes.
“I wonder where everyone else is. They should have been here by now.” Jenna mumbled.
Just then Courtney and Alice arrived.
“Sorry we’re late. We got a bite to eat.” Courtney said.
“Where is Melissa?” Jenna asked.
“She is still eating. When we left she was on big mac number 7. She’ll be here soon.” Alice said. Al and Courtney sat down.
“So how many seats did you get?” Courtney asked Alice. Alice was given two seats to accommodate her extra-large bottom.
“Two… What about you?” Alice asked.
“I got two but I was hoping for three.” Courtney said disappointed.
“You really think you would need three seats?” Alice asked.
“I might. I’ve been eating quite a lot recently. I definitely have a bit more extra padding.” Courtney said rubbing her enormous gut.
“Yeah I think two should be fine for me.” Alice said.
“I wouldn’t be too sure. Airplanes are so small these days. They try to fit as many people as they can. That’s why regular girls like you and me have to get multiple seats. It’s like every plane was built for Christina.” Courtney said. That’s when Melissa waddled over.
“Hey *burp* sorry I’m late.” Melissa’s belly was packed with food.
“Melissa how many seats did you get?” Courtney asked.
“Two.” She said.
“Hey who is that?” Christina said. An absolutely huge woman was giving Jenna a hug.
“With Jenna? That’s Jessica. She used to work at our branch before she got promoted to corporate.” Courtney said.
“Well why is she here.” Christina asked.
“She’s coming with us. Gordge also sends a representative from corporate to the expo.” She said.
“Oh hey I think we’re about to get on the plane.” Alice said.
