You look over at the body which has just started bandaging itself. its a crude, bloody mess but it should keep him from dying. You get to a phone and hammer in 9-1-1. as you get connected you tell your mom to patch him up. You report the robbery and explain the situation, including the dire circumstances that led to you removing the robber's mind. Its not long until police, paramedics, and the media arrive. Its a frenzy of questions, accusations, and attention you never wanted. The officers that recover the robber let you know that they think you made the right call, but the robber may still press charges for downloading without his consent. It probably wouldn't get far in a court of law, but litigation could be very expensive. He won't earn any money from it, but if he's feeling petty he could so some serious damage with your desperate act to save him.
Business takes a hit over the next few days. Its hard to suss out reporters, from tabloid reporters some days, and its harder to separate them from your customers. You just want it all to go away... and after a few weeks it does. One night, as your closing down you hear a knock on the window. Your open for another half hour, formally anyway. and there are two or three customers in there, that your chatting with, but your close to the door and let out, "We're not open much longer!" Before the door swings open. As you turn to look... you see the robber from a few weeks ago... he's dressed fairly nicely, like he may have just gotten out of the court room. He is shivering, possibly going through withdrawal. Your ready for him to strong arm you, threatening to take you to court if you don't give him what he wants, effectively robbing again, but, instead, he begins to cry. He whispers. "Please... put me back in there... please" This man... could ruin you if he escaped jail time some how. There is also a chance he made it over here before going to jail and is looking for an escape... Prying into the why's could hurt your chances of getting out of this with your business intact.
