As you awaken, you have a hard time seeing much of anything. Your vision is blurry and you can barely move. Your body feels weak and what little movement you can manage causes you considerable pain. In the background you can hear a steady beeping coming from somewhere nearby. "What happened, and where am I..." you wonder. Just as your vision starts to clear up you hear a door open and close. Even in your current state, you know that someone is in the room with you. You hear footsteps moving toward you, they seem to stop right next to where your laying. Not long after that you hear what sounds like humming and some kind of faint scratching sound. You blink a few more times and find that you can see clearly enough to make out where you are. You were in a large room with white walls and a single window. You yourself were laying in a bed, a hospital bed to be precise. This also explains the beeping noise that you've been hearing. Without moving your head, you look to your left where you'd heard those footsteps stop and find an anthro collie standing by your bed in a nurse outfit. In her hand was a clipboard which she was currently writing on, which would explain that scratching noise from before. She seems to be paying more attention to the monitors than to you. Suddenly, all your memory comes back to you. Showing up in this strange world, the police coming after you and even falling off of that rooftop. How you survived that was beyond you... but you definitely didn't want to be in the hospital if the police were chasing you. Police departments and hospitals go together like T.V's and DVD players. They don't always have to work together but they are more than willing to do so and share information happily. Information like when someone running from the police checks into a hospital room with major injuries.

Your situation wasn't good, and it was getting worse by the second as your heart monitor was picking up your accelerated heart rate. By the time you realized this, you found the collie nurse looking down at you with wide eyes. Your first instinct was to get out of the bed. You were able to sit up and set one foot on the ground before pain shot through your body. Unable to do anything but cry out you fell back onto the bed. The pain slowly subsided as you laid back on the bed. You started to get up again but the nurse dropped her clipboard and held your arms against the bed, preventing you from sitting up. "Shh... you need to rest. As far as we can tell you cracked two ribs and fractured your right shin. You've got a contusion on the back of your head too along with a bruised trachea along with countless other bruises all over your body."

"And now I know why it hurts to move and breath," You thought as you remained still so as not to cause yourself any more pain.

"Now I'm going to let you're arms go," The collie warned. "You won't try to run again will you?" You shook your head as she slowly removed her paws from your wrists. "My name is Cindy, I'm assigned to watch over you. The doctors have done all they can for you and expect you to make a full recovery. But for you to do that you must rest."

Oh perfect, you've been immobilized and hospitalized at the same time. Well, at least it can't possibly get any worse, right?
