"Well, you've got a broken leg," she tentatively tells you. You look and see that it is set in a cast. "I'll go get a doctor."
She leaves and you spend the time thinking about being attacked by that shadow. The cast and the long weeks of recovery don't concern you as much as what that thing was. Finally the Dr. comes in.
She is a middle aged woman wearing scrubs with a stethoscope around her neck. She is fairly pretty for her age but far from hot.
She smiles warmly at you as she enters the room. "You had us worried there. You were out for a while."
She does some basic tests of your vitals. Flashing a light in your eyes and a few basic questions. "Well, you seem OK." She says.
"You were out for a while. You broke your leg which we set but the fact that you were unconscious for so long without any apparent trauma is worrisome. I'd recommend that you stay here for a day or so where we can check on you before you go."
"But .." you protest.
"I really can't see anything wrong. We've already run some scans and checked for head trauma but I can't explain what happened. Could be nothing but it could be a big deal."
"I really don't want to stay here." You say.
"It is up to you of course, but if you do go at least check in with your doctor in a day or so."
