Mommy let go of Dennis as she walked back behind the fence and closed it, content to watch her baby occupy her time watching her baby from a short distance. He was surprised he was sitting up right, his body and muscles having adjusted since yesterday.
There were 6 older kids crowding around the left corner. A red-headed, freckled boy in a pair of overalls struggled to walk, toddling away from a blonde baby in a pink sundress that was waddling after her in a circle in a game of tag. Two girls were playing with a large set of LEGOs big enough for them to crawl over. One with short black hair wearing a pink onsie over her clearly showing diaper, the other with blonde hair tied in pigtails wearing a pink t-shirt, her pinkish-diaper exposed. The green-eyed nursing unit from before was sitting on her knees against the wall, content as her two babies were feeding from her engorged breasts. They were twins, a boy and a girl. The boy suckling on the left breast was in a blue onsie with brown hair, while the girl on the right had her long brown hair loose and wore a pink dress that did nothing to hide her diaper. The girl briefly stopped drinking as the seat of her diaper suddenly puffed out, the girl making hushed, pushing grunts before she went back to her feeding.
Intrigued by the older babies, Dennis decided that he would like to play with them, thinking that they would understand him. He carefully moved his knees and hands in sink, steadily learning to crawl for the first time. As he got the hang of it, he felt a pressure like before, but it was much stronger than when he had to make a pee. The powerful sensation built and built, the discomfort moving through his body.
"You're the new kid right?"
It was the red-head in overalls. He got bored of the game of tag he had with the blonde and decided he needed to rest, still not having gotten used to walking. He sat down in front of Dennis, the diaper beneath his overalls cushioning his butt as did so with a muffled crinkling noise beneath his overalls.
"My name is Lewis. I'm the biggest kid in Busy Bee. What was your name again?"
Dennis, forgetting the pressure in his body, flexed his tongue to speak.
"D...D...De-ennis," he spoke.
"Hi Dennis, you want to play?"
"You don't want to play with him," said the blonde girl from before, having sat down with Lewis. "He's just a baby. He probably just wants to lay around and go potty in his pants."
"You went potty in your diaper Jackie," said Lewis, pointing at the big yellow patch staining the pony illustrations on her diaper.
"P-Peeing doesn't count," said Jackie. Suddenly she pointed at Dennis. "Eew, he just pooped!"
It was true. Dennis's diaper puffed out, having just made his first bowel movement. He did not notice it until it was brought to his attention, and he did not like it. Instinctively, Dennis wanted to cry, wanting to Mommy to make the icky feeling go away. Lewis crawled toward him and whispered in his ear.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
This made Dennis feel better as his tears receded.
"Come on. Some of the best toys are free," as Lewis crawled on his hands and knees over to the toy chest. Chloe followed.
