Nicole Winters was walking down the street, just coming finishing a shopping trip paid for by her parents. Nicole had a condo by herself, and didn't need to go to college as she could pay her way to success. As she was getting into her paid-for Mercedes, she caught a glimmer of light in the corner of her eye. On the ground, she saw a coin.
"Ooh, money? This day's getting better and better!" she said, picking up the coin. Getting a good look at it, she was a bit taken back by what was on the coin. On the front side, there was an image of a man and a woman pregnant, with smiles on their faces. On the tails side, the pregnant male and female were there, but their smiles were swapped with looks of horror.
"What the hell is-"Nicole said, before being interrupted by her cell phone ringing. "Hello?"she asked. "Hey, girl!" said her best friend, Betty, a red-haired girl Nicole's age who also had rich parents. "Oh, Betty, what's up?" Nicole asked. "Not much, just waiting for you to get here!" "I'm on my way." she said, putting the coin in her pocket before pulling out of the parking lot.
Arriving at Betty's, she rang the doorbell. Betty opened the door. "Hey, Nicole! About damn time you made it!" she said. Betty lead Nicole into the living room, where Nicole tried on her new clothes, talked about boys, and money.
Flip me. a strange thought in her head appeared.
Nicole shook off the thought, before it appeared yet again.
The coin, Nicole flip the coin.
She pulled the coin out of her pocket and flicked it.
